She wants it. He’s got it…and a whole lot more.

Turner Twins, Book 2

Maxwell Turner considers his stubborn and resourceful attitude a plus. After all, it usually gets him what he wants—except for Natasha Bellingham. The long-time family friend may be ten years older than he, but so what? He’s plenty old enough to know they belong together. Now all he has to do is convince her.

Over the past few years Natasha’s love life has degenerated into a series of bad clichés. Her biological clock is ticking—loudly. As a proven architect with her own house-design company, she’s financially ready for a baby. Who says she needs a permanent man in her life for that? She just needs a “donation”.

When Max discovers Natasha’s future plans include artificial insemination, he’s outraged. She wants to get pregnant? No problem. He’s more than willing to volunteer—no turkey basters involved.

But there’s one non-negotiable clause He wants forever. And he intends to do everything in his power—fair and unfair—to make it happen.

Warning This title contains one younger man ready, aimed and hell bent on giving one woman everything she wants. Includes interludes against the wall, in a Jacuzzi, on a car hood and even—shockingly enough—on a bed or two. Oh, and about that porch swing? Yup…

Oh my goodness I loved this book!!!

Max Turner totally won me over. I fell so hard for him!! Tasha is such a great character too. She wants so much out of life but has been hurt in the past. I loved these 2 together.

I already know I will be reading this one again and again.

Turn It Up Turner Twins Book 2 edition by Vivian Arend Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

A new series, great author with a lot of talent. I enjoyed this book but love her Cowboy series.
💜💜💜💜💜💜
I really liked this book. The author is a very good writer. The sexual tension is off the charts. Tasha and Max were made for each other.
Absolutely could not put this down. The chemistry is so undeniable between this pair that it makes yourheart sing for them and you just keep on rooting for Max to finally get the girl he's always dreamed of being with... Definitely a must read!!!!
Ok I should have read this one first so with that being said WOW!!
Older woman and younger man and what a story.
Not to much drama, hot spicy love scenes, funny banter between characters.
I really need to install a porch swing *wink*.
I Hated the heroine in both the main book and the bonus book. Arend doesn't usually create women who play games or demand ridiculous gestures of devotion. But these stories were awful. Literally there was no reason for either man to stick it out with these women. Just stupid. Can't get these hours back.
I really enjoyed this story.
Tasha knows what she wants in life (a baby) and has been burned by men enough that she decided to do it on her own. Max (A.K.A Junior) is a super smart man who matured early because he graduated from College when others his age (including his twin) were graduating from high school. When he comes home from College he is smitten with Tasha. Because she is more than 10 years older than Max she doesn't give him a second thought romantically. However, she is friends of his cousin and the Turner clan is a close knit family so she has spent lots of time at Turner events where Max is a consistent presence.
The night before she goes on her new diet/health regime to prepare her body for pregnancy, she goes on her last birthday bender. When her designated driver gets drunk too, she calls her cousin Max to come take them all home. Tasha tells Max all about her plans to have a baby when she is drunk. He waits until she is sober then approaches her to let him be the baby's father. He uses this as a way to weasel his way into her life because he is still in love with her and to make her fall in love with him.
This is technically the second book in the series, but I've read them both and this one should be read first. You will have more insight into the family, Maxine and the history of the porch swing if you read this first. I reread the first book after this one and enjoyed it more than the first time around.
There were a few issues that prevent me from giving this story 5 stars. 1) Tasha mentions that she loves the way that Max talks in riddles and she enjoyed watching people sputter but the only time he did it was at the beginning of the story when she says this. 2) I don't remember learning why it was so important to Max that they get married. They could have done everything even if they didn't get married. 3) Lila (Tasha's best friend/Max's Cousin) takes objection to their relationship and this is a prominent hurt to Tasha but it is never resolved. Lila never really gives an explanation as to why she is so upset and I just felt like it was a loose string at the end.
I have a bad habit of reading books out of order, so reading this made a lot of things in book 2 make sense! Nonetheless, Max and Tasha knew each other for years with Max pining away for her all this time. Given their age difference there was an understandable resistance from Tasha but they both work hard to make 'it' work. There were so many lovely moments in this book. Enjoy reading it!
